The following is worthy of note as it is a direct argument with the religious leaders regarding Jesus' substance, being and identity and so, in context, it deals with the very nature of Jesus.   Jhn 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.    "Here Jesus is accused (falsely though) of making himself   God."
Jhn 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
"Jesus answers his false accusers by refering to Psalm 82 and says that even God  referred to humans as
 gods"
Jhn 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;    "These   "gods" were even the subject of God's animosity and they are still gods"
Jhn 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?    "Here he clarifies what he really said (and not what they were accusing him of saying) that he is    the Son of The God"  How much clearer can God's word make it.
